Guidelines for Authors

ETRIA plans to convene a world TRIZ conference 'TRIZ Future 2001' in November 2001.

The conference is aimed at an audience who already knows what TRIZ is, and is looking for a forum in which they can expand their knowledge and share research and exploitation ideas.

The conference is intended to be convened as a Workshop style event, combining formal paper presentations from TRIZ experts, working group panel discussions and informal networking with the finest TRIZ expertise available.

The overall theme of the conference is twofold:

  • Defining future TRIZ strategy.
  • Industry experience and requirements.
CALL FOR PAPERS

  
Interested parties are invited to submit a title and 200 word abstract of their proposed paper, along with a brief biography.

Abstracts for papers to be presented at the Conference are invited. Relevant topic areas of interest include:

  • New developments of TRIZ and Knowledge Management tools and methods.

  • Advanced applications and approaches.

  • Integrated systematic innovation tools, methods and strategies.

  • Industry Requirements.

The conference will be held at the Menzies Bath Waterside Hotel, Bath, UK

The hotel has a number of rooms reserved at the special conference rate of 75 UK pounds per night for bed and breakfast. Be sure to mention the conference and the University when booking to obtain this rate!

Available Hotels

Bath is a compact city and there are many town centre hotels within easy walking distance of the Menzies Bath Waterside Hotel. For those wishing to stay in alternative accommodation, most hotels in the city can be booked through the Bath & Beyond website www.visitbath.co.uk. Chesterfield, Dukes and Millers are three hotels recommended by the University.
